Ramsgate - Full Day - delight in traditional English seaside prettiness, as we explore the Kent coast.
Travel along the beautiful coastline before stopping at the lovely harbour town of Ramsgate, with its gorgeous gardens, busy harbour, before visiting the Spitfire and Hurricane Memorial at Manston. Then further along the coast we’ll visit Broadstairs, home of fantastic historic buildings, wonderful cliff top walks, cobbled streets and quaint fishermen’s cottages – all topped off with a beautiful flower-lined promenade.
Boulogne – Full Day – we combine the old and new, with the bustling resort of Boulogne.
Join us for a fantastic excursion by ferry to the popular seaside resort of Boulougne. Traditionally an old fishing town, there is so much to discover, especially if you venture to the ‘Old Town’ where you can still see the stone cannon balls employed by Henry VIII when he besieged and captured Boulogne at one stage.
Canterbury - Half Day - to the beautiful cathedral city of Canterbury.
Steeped in tradition this modern, vibrant city has winding lanes, impressive architecture and an array of individual, quirky shops to wander. Visit the stunning cathedral (at your own expense) wander the ancient sights or simply sit back in one of the quaint cafes and enjoy a quieter pace of life. The ancient ruins of St Augustine's Abbey and St Martin's Church form Canterbury's UNESCO World Heritage Site while other ancient ruins such as the Norman castle are reminders of the city's history, heritage and culture.
