This break has got it all! From beach-side relaxing to boat trip adventuring, we’ll be sampling the best that this gorgeous corner of England has to offer. Wander the beautiful parks and gardens, check out the amusements, admire the wildlife of the Broads or just sit and enjoy the ocean views.
Norfolk Broads Cruise - Full Day - we’ll sail the River Bure around the Wroxham Broads as well as taking in picturesque villages along the famous ‘Norfolk Broads’.
Medieval bridges, ancient churches, cream teas and English wildlife at its finest. Beyond Great Yarmouth’s historic port we’ll find the protected wetlands of the Broads National Park. Step aboard the river cruiser as we sail the River Bure around the Wroxham Broads. There will also be time to explore the tranquil villages of Potter Heigham, Stalham and Horning.
Norwich - Full Day - spend the day exploring this magnificent distinctive city.
Holding the title of the “most medieval city in the whole of England”, Norwich is a site to behold. With a fantastic Norman cathedral, incredible architecture, medieval churches, ancient city walls and fantastic shopping, it’s a fascinating blend of historic interest and contemporary sophistication. Wander the many museums and art galleries, grab a bite to eat at one of the quirky eateries or discover history at its finest in Norwich Castle (at your own expense).
Gorleston-on-Sea & Lowestoft - Half Day - spend time exploring these two gorgeous seaside towns.
Relax in the beautiful cream-coloured sands of Gorleston-on-Sea bay, a lazy day favourite for families and old and young alike. Discover its fantastic atmosphere, pretty cliff gardens, beautiful riverside and imposing pier. Afterwards it’s on to Lowestoft, the easternmost town in the UK, where lovely coastal walks and sprawling Blue Flag beaches abound.
Cromer & Sheringham - Half Day - rich heritage, beautiful golden beaches and bags of personality – North Norfolk is fantastic!
We’re off for a jaunt to Cromer, a gorgeous town on the North Norfolk coast, with its pier, museums, wide open beaches, spectacular cliffs and Victorian charm – you could even sample a crab or two as well! Afterwards it’s on to the traditional seaside village-turned-town of Sheringham, with its Blue Flag beaches, great eateries, scenic woodland and lovely gardens.
Beccles, Bungay & Southwold - Full Day - visiting the picturesque market towns on the edge of the beautiful broads.
Beautiful Beccles is a great place to wander, where you can check out the Gothic Bell Tower, browse the little shops or visit the museum. Afterwards we’ll head to Bungay, a pretty little market town beside the river Waveney. Continuing on, we’ll journey to Southwold, an enchanting little seaside town with its sandy beaches, working lighthouse and prize-winning pier with time to look around before return to the hotel.
