Caernarfon, Porthmadog & Betws-y-Coed - Full Day - explore some of the most historic and picturesque towns in Wales.
Our first stop is the Celtic town of Caernarfon with the beautiful River Seiont flowing through it and the mighty ancient castle dominating the view. After time to explore we’ll travel on to Porthmadog, the “Gateway to Snowdonia National Park." Nestled in some of the most stunning scenery you’ll ever see, the town has plenty of vibrant independent shops to explore, plus fascinating maritime history and much more. Returning to the hotel via Betws-y-Coed with time to look around.
Chester - Full Day - to discover the small city with a big history!
Explore the medieval city of Chester with its 900 year old Cathedral, Roman walls and half timbered houses - Chester is a historical gem. Wander through its cobbled street that take you to the famous 'Rows' in the centre of town, a collection of shopping arcades in traditional style. Its bewitching beauty and unique atmosphere make Chester a popular place for all.
Llanberis - Full Day - exploring the breath-taking scenery, rich history and even top attractions.
We’ll travel to Snowdonia through Betws-y-Coed, before arriving at Llanberis at the foot of Mount Snowdon. This picturesque village has a wealth of attractions; from the impressive slate mine museum to the Electric Mountain as well as two narrow gauge railways (at your own expense), one running alongside the shore of Llyn Padarn and the other to the top of Mount Snowdon!
Bangor & Anglesey - Full Day - visit some of Wales’ crowning jewels in a day of sightseeing, history and beauty.
One of the oldest and smallest cities in the whole of the UK, Bangor is a real treat. With roots dating back to the 6th century, it is nestled in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, where the sprawling Snowdonia mountains stretch to the sea. With wonderful historical bridges and buildings to see, it also boasts a lovely Victorian pier to wander! Afterwards we’ll head to Anglesey for a visit to Beaumaris with its famous moated medieval castle. And if that wasn’t enough of a pure Welsh experience for you, how about a trip to the renowned train station with its famous name "Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch”!
