Itinerary

Day 1 - Outward Travel

Day 2 - Full day to Port Sunlight, ferry across the Mersey and Guided City Tour of Liverpool

Our expert guide first takes us to Port Sunlight, the purpose built workers’ village on the Wirral, In Port Sunlight we visit the Lady Lever Gallery. We then take the famous “ferry cross the Mersey” to Liverpool. On arrival in the city centre we visit the Museum of Liverpool. In the afternoon our guide takes us to the famous Beatles-related sites across Liverpool. We also pass the city’s two cathedrals before enjoying some free time for the remainder of the afternoon.

Day 3 - Day at Leisure

Day 4 - Full day to Southport

Delightful parks, a fabulous marine lake and one of the longest piers in Britain make Southport a must visit. Perhaps call in at the popular Wayfarers Arcade and be impressed by the elegant architecture and glass roof.
