Explore London and Kew Gardens
The sheer vastness of London means that a guide (included in tour cost) is a great asset in pointing us in the right direction. We will pass Westminster Abbey, the Houses of Parliament, Piccadilly, Trafalgar Square, St. Paul’s Cathedral, the Tower of London, London Bridge and Hyde Park Corner. The guided tour ends at the Aldwych, close to Covent Garden. The afternoon is free to visit points of personal interest.
Probably the world’s best known botanical garden, Kew Gardens were first laid out by Princess Augusta, the mother of George III. Kew houses the largest and most diverse botanical and mycological collections in the world, offering more than 100,000 species (entry included). Kew also boasts many interesting buildings and pleasant walks.
